Trust & transparency
Editorial policy
PMN aims to make Pakistan's marketing industry easier to understand and navigate. These principles guide how industry news, analysis, directory information and contributed material are handled.
Accuracy and sourcing
Material facts should be supported by reliable sources wherever practical. First-party company announcements can establish what an organisation says; independent sources are preferred when broader verification is needed.
Clear distinction between formats
News, analysis, opinion, contributed material and sponsored content should be presented in a way that makes the nature of the content understandable to readers.
Corrections and updates
When a material factual error is identified, PMN aims to correct it promptly. Directory profiles may also be updated when a person or company provides more current information.
Company and member listings
Being listed in the directory does not imply endorsement. PMN may review, edit, decline or remove directory information when it is inaccurate, misleading, duplicative or inconsistent with community standards.
Commercial independence
Advertising, partnerships or commercial relationships should not determine the factual conclusions of editorial coverage. Sponsored material should be identifiable as such.
Responsible use of tools
Research, drafting and production tools may assist the publishing process, but PMN remains responsible for the accuracy, relevance and presentation of material it publishes.
Contact and corrections
Readers, companies and members can use the PMN contact page to flag an error, request a correction or provide updated information.
